A sad sight.

This is a tree which was blown down in the recent gale. I hate to see trees lying down. They look so sad.

This view from upstairs was very brief but pretty while it lasted. This was the snow that fell a couple of days ago.

The sun shining through the trees on this particular morning looked so very beautiful I had to take a photograph.
